what year is your FX? does it have a intelli key (keyless lock/unlock)?

the dealer is the only place that can reprogram you Intellikey

2005 FX35 with the intelli key functionality -

I'm down for paying the $20 to get it reprogrammed, just not the $200 for the key itself. lol
