Is there even a unichip available for the FX50?
really? I thought I recall someone trying to get a unichip tune that had a FX50 and he kept going to the shop to get it tuned right, but nothing was set for sure or something like that. hmmmm
Great...so now my FX list is greater than the list of house repairs and enhancements.
That's awesome! Are you noticing big performance and sound changes?

Nice custom work you're doing on your FX... Is this by the same Flip squad that did your bodykit?

Looks good, maybe you can fabricate some heatshields.
Did your engine cover and two side covers,...fit with the intake

Slamming45 took
measurements of my 2009 FX50S for possibly intake creation at the last Handy Andy meet. He is looking at ways of even making it better than the K&N intakes. We are also bouncing ideas for best setup for the FX50 guys...possibly even something brand new. Good quality, performance, and amazing sound takes time...more than just buying an intake and modifying it to work. I'll keep you posted dwaynedadon on what the research and development brings because I'm sure there are many FX50 folks that will be interested. At some point we'll probably need to start a thread to get an idea how many FX50 folks will be interested based on what is produced, cost, etc.
Hey guys... It's been a while since my last post. Since then, I got the factory FX50 rims done in smoked chrome (looks sick), and my car got broken into. The fu**er stole my Escort Passport 9500ix radar detector, and scratched the crap out of my interior and bent the pillar in the door. Didn't think anyone would take the time to look for the cord adapter as i had the radar detector in the center console. Gotta get the window tint redone...
Anyways, I installed a JWT intake kit last night (actually made for a 370z). I noticed a slight gain in power especially at higher RPMs. Not much change in engine sound except at higher RPMs also. Unfortunately, I noticed harder shifts (not always a bad thing), and even worse, a huge lag in downshifts when I stomp on the gas (like 3-4 secs). Another thing, the SES light came on. Wish there was an intake kit made for the FX50S... Looks like I'm gonna switch back to the factory intake boxes, the slight gain in power isn't worth the lag in downshifts and tripping up the SES light.
