Hello all,
I recently installed the new K&N Air Filter to my fx,
But when I accelerate, it's kinda harder to getting into high RPMs than before.
I don't know if this good or I am the only one who feels this way, but has anyone experienced this??
Thank you :)

so you got a drop in right?

also you didnt add more oil to the filter right?

can you describe what you mean by harder to get into higher RPMS. Is it shifting earlier?

You can always do a ECU reset. (see the DIY)

Actually, it should be the opposite since you will have more air going into the engine. Double check you installation and make sure nothing came loose during the install. If all is good try a ecu reset.

Sorry for my short English :(
Yes, it is a drop in and I didn't add any more oil to the filter.
And it shifts early so unless I am driving in a manual mode, I can't stay that long in high RPM.
The stock air filter wasn't shifting that early so I was able to remain in higher RPM.
I hope my explanation was good enough :)
Thanks :)

drop in filter shouldnt have any impact on shifts. That just MO though
Only thing I could think of is that it changed the AF ratio and the ECU changed the shift patterns because of it to protect the engine until it had gotten used to the changes. But then everyone who installed a new intake should have similar issues if they don't reset the ECU.
