JX35 Engine check and P2097 / P2099 engine codes

Hi,

I wasn't able to bypass a pollution test with 2013 JX35 model. The results show a high Carbon monoxide (CO) and the engine check lit.

Checking engine code via OBD show an indication for P2097 and P2099 - which represent that the Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Rich (Bank 1 and 2).

Any clue as what should be the real problem and the solution? Note that I realize some old service recall around this issue and wonder if relevant to simple reprogram the ECM or replace sensors etc see 2013 Infiniti JX35: ECM Reprogram for A/F Sensor (Safety Recall)

Has the recall been done on your vehicle. The codes are likely related to the recall.

P2097 INFINITI Post Catalytic Fuel Trim System Too Rich Bank 1

I wasn't able to pull the P2099 for Infiniti from autocodes.com but it is likely the same but for bank 2.
