Just took these pix-Snow

I love BigBear . Snow fall comes good & heavy as it's Mountain terrain. Gets blizzard conditions on the slopes.
Question, is it obvious what I'm thinking on why your wipers are up in the air?
Makes it easier to clear snow and keeps wipers from freezing in block of ice.
Plus I clear all ice and snow off of them before I put them up so they are clean and ready for use.

MTN FX, do they clear the roads up there?
They start with the main roads and then move to side roads.
My street has not been plowed yet today heres some pix I just took and yes those are my tracks!!!!!!

very cool. RWD or AWD? Snow button pressed? hahahaha
AWD/Snow---I was pleasantly surprized how well it tracks. I don't know if you can tell but the pic with the stop sign is a fairly steep hill and I drove right up it without having to get up a head of speed.:tup:

OH, very cool. Mine is RWD. :frown: guess I can't go up.
Sure you just need some of these----

Best Snow Cables for FX's
The Z pattern is way better than ordinary straight cross link cables for traction and they put a secondary conection link on inside so you can put them on without driving onto them. They are the easiest snow cables to put on as well. Don't go with the cheaper cables because they fit much looser and break much easier and when they do break your fenders will get thrashed! These will outlast the other types of cables 10 to 1 if not longer.

NEW! Super Z6 for cars, pickup & SUVs

superz.jpg
Finally, there’s a winter traction aid designed to work with today’s larger wheel and tire combinations. The Super Z6 requires only 6.3 mm (1/4") of operating space in the critical inner sidewall area of the tire--less than half the space needed by most cable chains or tire chains. The Super Z6 is available to fit passenger car, pick-up and SUV tire sizes.
  • Built-in rubber tightener means you don't need to stop and retighten after installation.
  • Low potential for damage to body and mechanical components, even when abused.
  • Exceeds S.A.E. Class S clearance requirements.
  • Chain tighteners (included) must be used with the Super Z6.

link didn't work, but I'll take your word for it. So then I would need two pairs. On there it said you just need one pair for the drive wheels.

1 pair only....
RWD chains go on rear
AWD...chains go on rear

going to BB...go half way up to where they require you to put chains on...PAY THE GUYS $10-20! it's worth it..they do it in like 5 minutes....it will take you 30 minutes!

Also, check road restrictions:
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA CHAIN CONTROL REQUIREMENT LEVELS
W: No Restrictions – Watch for snow on pavement.
R-1M: Chains are required on single drive axle vehicles with trailers. (Commonly referred to as R1 Modified)
R-1: Chains are required on all commercial vehicles (trucks or buses). All other vehicles (cars, pickups, vans, etc.) must have either snow tread tires or chains on the drive axle.
R-2: Chains are required on all vehicles except four-wheel drives with snow tread tires on all four wheels, provided tire chains for at least one set of drive wheels are carried in the vehicle.
R-3: Chains required – ALL VEHICLES – no exceptions.

R-1 and R-2 are the most common chain controls. The highway will often be closed before an R-3 control
is imposed.

one pair will do---RWD on the rear AWD on the front

Toy: AWD = Rear
MTN: AWD = Front
