Wife just got a 2009 Fx35 AWD the other day, and i went on tire rack to surprise her with some 20's

I went with the avarus AV7

Front and Rear

  • Size: 20x10
  • offset +45mm
  • backspacing : 7.28"

and some 265-50-20 tires using thier tire package button, but then i got a call from tire rack that their online tire size calc was wrong and obviouslty 265's wouldnt fit on 20x10's (i shoudl have caught that, but my bad..)

So we talked it over and after finding some threads i figured 295/45/20 would be the best fit, so i went with those.

I should be good to go right? I was a little worried about the offset sticking out too much, but it looks like some people are fine with a 20x10 and 45 offset. (it will stick out ~30mm more than stock)

Should look great, I too am about to purchase rims for my wife (Lorenzo WL32 in 22x10.5). Just deciding when is good to pull the trigger.

Do you have a Viper as well? I am looking into 98-02 rt/10's currently, in place of my 05 Mitsubishi Evo 8.

no viper it was my dream car until i drove one a few years back... its always true about never meet your heros... i did drive an early RT-10 so obvioulsty my opion was a bit skewed to some of the newer GTS cars, but i still couldnt see myself dealing with all the little annoyances as a primary car with backup daily driver . Its an awesome "fun car" for cruise nights etc.. .. i have an E60 BMW M5 now

Yeah, the gen 2's are way more comfy, have power windows/locks, a/c, etc...heard it's a night/day difference, as well as a ton more hp/tq. Can't wait to test drive one as soon as I find a great deal.
