Just my luck!!!!!

the dealer thinks that its the ecu that is bad. the cam sensor had a needle sized hole in it and sent a spark up into the ecu causing the crank sensor to come up bad and also causing a constant miss read with the ecu since the spark was going directly to the ecu. mayeb I should buy a new camaro? lol

Damn dude, that's some crazy stuff.

Even after resetting then the code that's why the CEL keeps returning. After reset how long till the CEL returns?

For sure the ECU isn't cheap....

I dunno, I kind of like and dislike the new camaro (no doubt the LS3 is stout, especially since an SC one is 6-700WHP with tuning)...for some reason I prefer the 11 5.0 or 07+ 335i. But the 335i is it has HPFP issues will be in the shop every so often, although BMW has extended the warranty on the HPFP and it'll be covered.

No matter what route it'll still be some cash, although an ECU is still cheaper than a whole new car lol.

lol your right about the ecu being cheaper than a new car for sure. the check engine light came on right when i started the car up with even a sec of the key turned over, i really think they are right. the ecu is probably bad. when the camaro first came out i wanted one so bad because of the extisive mods that had came out before the car was sold, lol i wanted to buy a supercharger and do a full exhaust with headers but i cant afford 30+ grand yet. and there is NO WAY i would be able to get a 335i if i had that car with twin turbos i would be on top of the world
