Just picked up an 03 FX35 AWD. It has the 20' Wheels and I was told has the Sport Package but I am not sure. The headlights and taillights don't seem to match up with the Sport package trim.

I am ready to start modding. I would like to relocate the oem screen to the overhead console and install an aftermarket head unit that would incorporate navi, ipod, back-up cam and bluetooth.

Then I'd like to change the taillights.

And then a little bit on the performance end. Probably intake, plenum, tune.

Any advice would be appreciated.

welcome to :iS:. the sports package has red tails for the 04 model year. and not sure about the headlights, but what do you mean it doesn't match up?

Welcome to IS! The tinted sport headlights and taillights started with the '05 model year. Enjoy the forum and the modding ideas that come with it!

Good to know about the lights. Is there a sure-fire way to know if I have the sport package. The suspension feels like it Sport tuned compared to some non-sport FX's I've driven, plus the 20's.

I need to get my hands on the custom overhead console to relocate the oem screen and install the aftermarket head unit.
 
You can always just look at the decal on the body when you open the driver's door. The sticker should have tire pressure info and say 20x8 or something like that. That's a quick way to know if its sport or not. If its non sport it'll say 18x8.
