Just got preowned FX 35. Bought license plate holder for front debating if I should install.

Welcome to :iS2: Regarding front plate. If FL is not requires one, I would not install it. Personally, I think the front plate destroy the look :smile (2):

I wouldn't install front plate unless you get a ticket. My FX is an 04 and has never had a front plate.
 
Thanks for the warm welcome and opinion on the license plate bracket. Probably return it.......
 
Definitely looks cleaner without the plate, but you have to figure if it's worth the hassle of tickets if it's required by your state.

my province doesn't require front plates and I never had one. But my car is from US and it kills me that they drilled into a bumper to mount the plate. I hate it!!!

Yea but the plate holder dented the bumper. Seems like something leaned into it, or the precious owner bumped something. I also hit the snow bank so the bumper is cracked on the bottom a little as well so my best bet would be to get a whole new bumper. Just don't have cash now with purchasing a new condo and a European trip coming up
