I would like to know where to start. I want to get more horse power out of my 03 fx45. Need some help. Can someone provide some kind of inventory list? Something. Going crazy!:eek:
 
What kind of power and how much are you looking for?
There really is no bolt on supercharger or turbo kit for the fx45 as there are for the fx35.
Only thing would be a custom one off kit which will cost you serious $$$$

Well I would like to say first off, I love your FX. I'm Thinking of maybe getting another 60 to 80 hp. Is that possible? I am in NYC, and i spoke with Vinny ten. He say 400hp may be possible depending on what I want to spend. I would like to start off with 2500 at the most. What can I do? I need to set aside for some rims so that is my limit for now. Recession! LOL.

I'm pretty cool with Vinnyten. to get up to 400 you're going to be spending more than 2500 haha.....alot more
 
If that is your budget then there will be bolt on turbo or supercharger kits available for under 10k because a FI kit for the 45 will have to be a one off. Unlike the fx35 the fx45 has no instant HP kit. However, you can have a pretty good NOS system for about 3k which will give you about the amount of HOP you are looking for.
 
idea i came up with might be far fetched but...

I'm thinking that it should be possible (hopefully) to swap the 35 and 45's engines. If you can find a 35 willing enough to, maybe you can swap with him for little or no cost (the 35 is gaining something at your loss anyways) and then begin to mod the 35 engine the way you wanted to?

I know this idea is far fetched but i just wanted to throw it out there. possibilities are endless and good luck!

Thanks! Sounds good. What about squires turbo? I want to get my rims and acss first. That will hold me back for some time, maybe until mid summer. The I will have like 7k to spend, but I would really like to just get started. ( intake, exhaust, etc....)
 
Brnjug (Conrad) over at the ORG was looking into a 45 supercharger, not sure what happened. I know he is in the hospital now so it may have not worked out. He also came up with an electric fan mod to "take pressure off the engine" and gain something like 25 HP.
