Just did my grill in gloss black (Pictures included)

Just did my grill in gloss black. Sorry for the dirty car. We had some tress cut down in the backyard, so my whole car is covered in saw dust.

I'm really trying to decide if I like it or not as I thought the chrome's purpose on the grill was for it to look more classy vs black which makes it more sporty looking. Tell me what you think:

I don't know lol. I'm fighting with myself cause a like a little bit of chrome, but not alot =/
 
I kinda like it... the black sort of frames the waves, giving them the illusion of floating.

oh, why's the car so dirty, I thought you keep it cleen.. just messing with ya.
 
i think the chrome looks good on the black FX because it gives it a little of a contrast where as other cars like white or gray or copper can black out the entire grille and theres still a slight contrast, my two cents:smile (2):

It's a good thing I didn't paint it then lol. It's BMW shadowline gloss black vinyl. I did vinyl even though some said not too cause I'm not to sure if I like it black. Plus if I actually painted it and didn't like it, I can't revert back to the chrome.

The vinyl came out perfect though.



Oh and the person that did it for me also did a clear bra protection install on my rocker panel trim inside of the car. After that one scratch got on it I had to get it protected so it won't happen again.

Looks good.take 2 pictures: first with gloss black and second with chrome.and compare. I think you will like your gloss black:) i don't have any chrom on my ride and it looks good:)

She needs a good wash tomorrow or Saturday since she is covered in saw dust from the trees =]. I'll post up some better pictures then.
