Nice Pics. I know it's not that big, but FX looks huge in the middle

It was big in comparison...hehe

1. Not only are the cars a small 2 seater and the engine compartment tiny - Their 3.5L V6 engines looked crammed so tight and looked HUGE in the engine bay....when I open mine up with the engine bay the size as it is, the 5.0 V8 looks like a plum seed with room to stand inside the engine bay.
2. Virtually all their cars were dropped significantly.

I had a lot of fun because they were all so shocked I kept up with them. I wish you guys had been there that have done all your lowering and tune mods. You would have shocked them even more!

I'm happy with mine the way they are, but the FX50S is smoked more than a FX35 or regular FX50. I would definitely smoke yours, including headlights and it will probably end up being darker than mine. I just wouldn't go very dark.

Or if you like my headlights and/or tails in comparison, you can always try and buy FX50S headlights and/or tails. You'll have a chance to check mine out in person comparing to yours this weekend if you come to the chicago meet.

As you guys know, Discount slightly damaged the rims (just a little bit of the paint chipped off by the center cap around the center cap on all 4 wheels - it chipped when taking off/putting on the balancer).

Today I dropped it off. They are having it resurfaced. So turns out that it's costing them a little above $1,500 for the 4. Store manager, senior manager, and assistant manager were all talking to me about it. They have revamped their training due to this incident. They said it's because of the hyper silver paint, the paint process, the amount of layers, etc that it costs that much. If you notice, the eikels it is extremely thick paint plus that is a unique color and I guess requires certain layers of paint or whatever. The national service (keystone) that discount tires has an agreement with that does refinishing back to factory oem said this specific process is more involved (5 day process) than most other rims and why even for discount tires it is costing them a boat load. those 5 days are not even shipping, but luckily keystone has a major facility here in motor city just down a few miles. Obviously an individual wanting the same king of refinish to factory I would assume would pay much more than that even though that is already unbearable imo.

So I guess you really get what you pay for. If it's costing a massive vendor with a SLA $400 a wheel especially for these eikels, no wonder cheaper refinishes peel, bubble whatever.
