jdTrader's FX50S :: 2009 Infiniti FX50S

Is your FX lowered? Looks really small in that picture with the dogs, or you're just really tall!

It isn't, but good eye....the driveway slopes up quite a bit as you approach the house so I'm higher than where the FX is sitting. :)

BTW, my mom took these pictures without any warning. Looks like I was just about to close the hatch and go.

:laugh: I'm sure Jonas is documenting the entire two days worth of doings!

Not much too it....just a 30 minutes strut bar install and 40 minute HID fog light install. :)))))

:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: Its pretty easy, quick and painless.... 30 minutes on the STB and 40 minutes on the HID fog install.

BAM I got a Garage.

Yeah , since you are the only one with fx50 and all OEM covers intact who done it, we need pictures of that gtspec stb installed.

I'll retake new pictures in a few weeks (including engine bay) when I do a spring cleaning....my engine bay is soooo dirty right now. Good idea Zebra...will do.

Finally 200 years later.......:tongue:

next should be the calipers getting painted. They look too concealed behind the wheels. It needs some contrast:good:

Looks good Jonas, drilled rotors, what make did you get.
[h=1]Akebono ProACT Ultra-Premium brake pads and blue racing brake fluid. Both of these were recommended by Handy Andy and I couldn't find anything better so he was right on target. The rotors Tchuck runs R1conepts and loves them and my outside research pointed to these....only thing better were going to be rotors > $1,000 for a set, which at that price point then becomes ridiculous imo. I don't like the way the drilled stoptech rotors look and I don't like how any slotted rotors look...I see them on cheaper cars....kind of sick of them sort of like chrome on a car. But I love drilled rotors and love how they look on exotics. I love how they look on Handy Andy's ride, Andrew's ride in chicago, and now on my ride. It screams performance and they feel great. I was also surprised of the quality of these since they are not just drilled but angled from the edge (from both sides)...this is to prevent cracking that other cheaper or even high quality rotors don't even have this.

Surprisingly, at 69,100, my brake fluid was very very clean, but we still flushed the old brake fluid completely out with the new stuff.
[/h]I did quite a bit of research now for a few months on and off infinitiscene before making my choices on the 3 items and am very satisfied.

I probably won't ever paint the calipers....I'm not a fan of how it looks unless it's on something like a Ferrari.
