FX50 video!
a little exhaust and revving, a little accel, some in-cabin accel
I havent uploaded it to youtube yet because I need to tweak it a bit...

but here's a little video action of the FX50
NEWFX50thebeastv2 :: FX50STOCKEXHAUSTACCEL.mp4 video by jbaker1121 - Photobucket

I swear the video makes it look slower than it is because of the frame rate...
NEEDS an EXHAUST haha

enjoy

Nice. Keep it coming. Shifts look pretty quick

Thanks.
They are quick if you hit the right point in manumatic, if you shift a little late or a little too close to the limiter (Im used to not having one) then it bounces it back and delays for a second, kind of like the 2nd-3rd gear one in the vid. In DS or D mode you have to step on the pedal and hold it all the way down for it to understand you want it to downshift downshift to really move...... I dont drive it around in manumatic/tiptronic like my 35, I let it chill in DS most of the time because Im not used to the 7 gears yet.

On the "accel" after the Rev, you can hear the shifts are perfect and crisp (using paddles), but on the in car, two are a bit slow using the paddles... You just need to find the right point for each gear to shift, because its a little different for each.
I still need to get used to it.
I also dont want to just slam ont he pedal from a dead stop...theres only 7k miles on it haha Im trying to be nice to it for a while....I have done it, and it really throws you back in your seat.... if you have VDC off and launch from a stop the rear tires will chirp or atleast "shudder" for a second......
this thing has power haha.....

:tup:

Nice, what video editing program do you use?

I'm having a hard time becoming a fan of the paddle shifters because it lags too much for me....I'm used to my mustang cobra and shifting it manually into gear in like 1/4 of a second. Here it seems like 1-2 seconds to shift, so if I slam on the gas and lets say you are going from 2nd to 3rd gear, it's almost like you have to paddle shift it at 4,000 rpms to have it finally shift at 6,000 or more rpms or something.....are you noticing the same aggravation JB? If not, what's your trick?

thats what I was explaining earlier, you have to stay far away from the redline otherwise it lags the shift. I shift at about 6k-6.2k if Im really on it
