Jbaker1121's FX35 updates and photo thread

Whats with the green calipers? lol jk This kid at my school has a G37s that is that purple/silver color with the stock 19's powder-coated black and like neon green calipers and it looks sick! I wish i had a pik, but it looks really nice!

I'm sick of seeing red BBk's and a JDM trend for wheels/bbk's are just bright colors haha and i think AP racing (the BBK I may get) has a similar teal color to what I posted available... kind of stands out from the norm I guess? I was also thinking of just doing black haha

the gtr rims look great on your fx! me likely.

and for the teal caliper, i think its unique and actually looks pretty good

the teal bbks are PROJECT MU

10k bbks i think

hmm you're right, I was confusing the two. AP racing seems to only have black or red...project mu is teal...I guess I need to check which brands have a BBK for the FX. Is it only stoptech?

Stoptech has a bunch of colors...so technically they could have the teal I posted haha

edit: I checked the site, the colors availible are

I know the kits available are

rotora, APracing, stoptech, ksport, and the OEM akebono.
So ill need to check what is available

rotora has Dark Blue, Chrome, Gun metal, Gold, Silver, Black, and Yellow,
Apracing is red and black
stoptech has the above
ksport i have only seen in black.

but besides the BBK, the wheels are coming first!

oh yeah, here's the back story to the photos.

went to car wash.
car wash sprayed wheel cleaner with strong acids/base onto my exhaust tips
oxidated (burnt) titanium does not like acids or bases
wheel cleaner takes the color out of the tips
car wash manager will not pay for new tips
I negotiate and get a free detail instead.
then took a bunch of pictures!!!!!

I'm doing some rolling shots tomorrow with my artsy photographer friend, so those should come out pretty sweet he has like fisheye lenses and stuff....

but yeah, enjoy the pics. I tried to get artsy with the wheel pics and the decals and stuff by blurring some parts of the picture....these are all the raw photos, non have been touched at all.
