Hello all,
Just want to say hello as a newbie who just bought a repossessed 2004 FX35 in primo condition.

I drove it from LA to the bottom of the Baja Sur Mexican peninsula and it rode like a dream. However, along the way I developed a rather loud ticking noise coming from the AC (it went away when I turned off the AC) though it still works fine. :eek.: Anyone had a similar experience?

SOrrry cant help you with the AC problem however im sure someone will chime in though

welcome to IS. I hate to bring in the bad news so early to you but you're a/c compressor might be dying. is it a constant tic tic tic tic? that's die die die. not good.


or it can be a a normal a/c operation if its just a few ticks.
or some loose parts including the blower motor.
