Hey, I forgot to tell you... while the 50mm f1.8 is a real bargain... it's limited... shooting pics of cars won't be that great... it's good for portraits tho... You'd wanna get something that'll give you a wider angle... Sigma makes a great 30mm f1.4 (and yes, it's a f1.4!!!).
 
Only thing for me is price and compatibility. I know the lens is AF, so it won't auto focus. I need AS-F for that. Can I still do the shot where the background is blurred? That's all I really want.

yeah, bokeh can be achieved with the 50mm f1.8 but to take a picture of a car/FX, you'd have to stand back further...

Yeah, I think I'm willing to do that. Some of my favorite shots are ones with the FX taking up only a small portion of the frame. And some of those are of me driving, so I'd need the bokeh to have it look like motion.

pictures with motion blur in the background (like panning) can be done with any lens really... you wanna use the shutter speed priority setting. (slow the shutter speed down)
 
ohh really dang...pretty crazy guy haha so how much cash did he spend on his camera:tongue:

see i can afford buyin a d60 and stuff but i know it will end up on my shelf collecting dust because i carry around my sony point n shoot cam with me all the time haha just sits in my car incase i need it

but yea if he did those with a camera then more power to him

2 guys above are all correct. 21's on gen1 with bbk is fine. good luck on your search.

Thanks Dee! I've barely done anything worthy to my FX. Pretty much all of it is Turbo's work and Soon's photography. I'll finally start getting my hands dirty with a few future mods I have in mind.
 
Hey Ayia, I had a hard time looking at most white FX's that were stock, but yours with the blkd out grill, 21" wheels makes all the difference. it's a classy looking ride! so keep up the mods...and the photography helps us to keep looking, as some say here Sweet!
