It was Active Fuel Management, not Flex Fuel.

I thought it was the ethanol gas that somehow stayed longer in the tank, but i was mistaken.

I had to drive my bosses 2008 Chevrolet Suburban from Bowie Maryland, up to Sinai Hospital in Baltimore Maryland, then down to Roanoke Virginia, about 3 weeks ago. I got down there (Roanoke Virgina) and still had 3 quarters of a tank worth of gas left. I was really impressed by the preformance and am a firm believer in active fuel management.

I had forgotten that the truck could knock down to 4 cylinders with it, as i really didn't go past 70 mph on the beltway.
