Is this the CV Boot that's cracked?

Just recently went under the car to do some routine maintenance. Saw that this boot on the driver side was cracked and grease is leaking out. Can someone help identify if this part?

Would it possibly be related to the yellow AWD light coming on randomly?

Yep. CV boot is ripped. I highly doubt this has anything to do with the AWD light on at random.

Is yours FX35 or FX45? If yours is an FX35 and if it is the driver side, take closer look. It's a PIA to replace due to the recessed bolts on the inner end of the shaft.
