thermal is for warmer climate where it's supposed keep the upper plenum cold by cutting off the coolant circulation. but the effect is so little it doesn't matter if you get regular one or the isothermal.

Ya I had it backwards!?!? If you were considering getting the isothermal you'd be better off getting the Kinteix racing plenum. Its made of a composite material so there is 0 heat soak in the first place.

ooohh ok . so just making sure . there is very lil or no better performance with the iso thermal compared to the basic?

dang alright . now u got me thinking about the kinetix plenum not much more money and its the whole plenum . i wont order the spacer yet and think about it

I got the Kinetix because it does the same thing as the Motordyne spacers, but it replaces the metal plenum the holds heat. It uses a composite material that you can hold your hand to after hours of driving. It also looks great in the engine bay!

It'll look something like this but hopefully cleaner........

Thermal is only for place like Vancouver, hot in summer and cold/snowing in winter.

The spacer will not cut the coolant circulation, only if you installed the valve in the package and shut the coolant circulation off.
