Is it recommended to clean MAF Sensor and Throttle body as normal maintenance on FX?

No problem.
Erratic idle sounds like a vacuum leak. Have you disassembled your plenum/throttle body lately?
 
tchuck- no on the plenum/throttle but 7mnths back i changed my stock intake setup, got SRI.. Since then rpm'w acting weird, but nothing serious enough to stall..
Should i clean the throttle body?

By the way i noticed an improvement in gas, after maf sensor cleaning...
 
Thanks for the clarification tchuck. You might have to do the pedal dance to reset your idle RPM, unfortunately I don't have the procedure with me. Technosquare had it posted but removed it.
