Is InfinitiFX.org "dead"? Is this forum active?

Hi everyone! My wife just picked up a copper 2007 FX35 AWD and I'm looking for a good forum to call home. From what I saw over on "the org", the place is pretty much dead and there are very few current/recent posts. Is this place any better?

Here are some pics to get this started! BTW, is this considered liquid or autumn copper? And what is my interior color called?

I believe that is “brick” interior

th eorg is mostly dead, this forum is more active, and as the FXs get cheaper more members are signing up. Forums in general seem to be less popular bc of facebook groups.

Yeah this one is still kicking... but definitely slower than it used to be. FB and IG have taken away some participation but I find a much larger international customer base on FB, which brings different discussions to the table. DIY maintenance is much more popular now than when the cars were still being produced.

You have, "Brick" interior.

Welcome! I still miss my gen1 and think they were cooler. Brick is awesome.

Pick up some lights and wheels from the Sport package. :D [And a Stillen sway bar, filter & Z-tube, plenum spacer, etc... lol]

Thanks for the info guys! I avoid social media if at all possible, so I'll be doing my research and updates here :) Is this color considered liquid or autumn copper?

Yeah, I like the first gen more than the second gen. And yeah, the brick interior really livens things up. But that revised V8 in the 2nd gen is pretty lust-worthy! I'm already planning on installing the FX45's 20" wheels when we need new tires. What's the difference with the lights on the sport package? Which Stillen sway bar is recommended first, the front or the rear? I probably won't be able to convince her to pay for power adders, but I may be able to squeeze some chassis bracing in there.

Ooh, quick question. Has anyone ever swapped in the 3.7 HR motor from the 2nd gen into a first gen? I come from owning a Maxima (I30 really), where VQs are pretty much interchangeable if you know what you're doing.

Very little activity at the Org these days. They were bought out by a giant online community company and things have gone mostly downhill since then. This site has been way better for many years now and is still privately owned.

The FX35 Sport package also came with the OE 20" wheels and they are pretty common.

Sport package lights have a dark (matte black) interior bezel, while the non sport lights have a chrome interior bezel.

Front STB is recommended - rear not so much. Only AWD models came with a rear sway bar, so you can actually add the OE rear sway bar to your RWD FX if you really want but I would skip the rear STB. (Didnt even know they made one?!).

The DE motor will not swap with the HR, without a ton of supporting work. Dont think I have ever seen that done with a FX.

Ahh, so are the sport package tail lights the black chrome looking things, and non-sport are the normal/old red ones? Any differences with the headlights? I can't figure out which FXs get the red vs black tail lights!

My FX is AWD, so no need to install a RSB. Sucks that nobody has made an HR work yet in a 1st gen :(

Touring = Red Tails/Chrome H/Ls
Touring Sport = Black Chrome Tails/ Black Chrome H/Ls

My wife had a 1st Gen 35 just like yours but it was a Sport/Tech. She now has a 2nd Gen V8 and she always remarks that she wished it felt like her old FX to drive...she’s always saying it’s missing “something”. I personally think it’s the exhaust note that’s missing...
