Hi, Everyone new to the scene, I want to install a OEM iPod module in my 2005 FX35, so I started doing some research and found a few options and combinations of harnesses. I want it to be factory and be able to use my steering wheel controls as well. I went to dealer closes to me and they had no clue on the OEM module to control the iPod on my FX35. As a matter of fact they said that there is no such thing. I was like wow, can these people be that ignorant? Thanks to this forum I found all my information just by using the search feature, A lot of helpful people here, Thanks again my new IS family. :smile (2):

Nice grille, I like stainless steel.

Thank you Dr.2K , I am feeling that grill of your signature picture. That looks hot, it totally transforms the FX. Where did you get the emblem from? Did you use the one from your old grille?

Thanks Dr.2K for the info: I am going to see if I can get the one off a QX.
And for the guys who emailed me on the website,

Allows volume control thru steering wheel, but no track up/down thru steering wheel (same as factory installed unit on the 2008). Full controls thru radio.

Works with the IPhone too!

This is the preferred way to go!

If your open to other options, check out the DICE MediaBridge MBR-1503-NIS just released for Infiniti/Nissan. Plugs behind the radio and connects to your iPhone via your USB sync cable. Has text-to-speech and Bluetooth as well.

I wrote a full review here:

Might be out of your price range but it's the best iPod integration kit I've ever used.

I wrote a full review over on InfinitiFX dot org but I don't have enough cred on this site to post it here. Look in their audio/video/nav forum for it. Might be out of your price range but it's the best iPod integration kit I've ever used.

999U7-ET002 iPod Harness
999U7-ET003 iPod Harness:frown:

I have a set for sale, I bought these thinking they can be used on my 2005, These are for those FX that are pre wired behind the GLOVE BOX, I wanted to install mine behind the rear seat and route the wires to the middle console, I bought the 999U7-VS000 and now need the 999U7-VS001 to finish the install, I'll trade for that harness, or you can buy both of them for $30.00

I just had the iSimple Nissan/Infiniti ipod interface put in 2day and it's working fine so far, Pandora sound quality isn't great though, but everything works. It took about 45 mins & cost me $200 for everything installed. I had the wire put in where the cigar lighter goes & my iphone sits right in there...looks decent i think.
