hey guys!
well, i finally had my Harmon Kardon iPod radio thing hardwired to the AUX2 input through the satellite. I have the Harmon Kardon Drive + play ... (first gen.)
http://www.harmankardon.com/drive-1/
and i wired it to the AUX2 using the PAC AAI-NIS2 module...

my iPod plugs in in the center console.......
so all i have to do is press "SAT" and my iPod plays
and you can controll the vol. with the steering wheel...and the ipod contorls thru the H/K contorller (i mounted it right behind the cup holders and the armrest...see pix)
its MP3 CD quality---i highly recommend this setup.

cost me around $300 for everything put together---you can usually fidn the PAC on ebay cheaper...and the install price varies.

PIX will be up tommorow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats pretty awesome...i really want to hardwire an AUX for my iPod so i can stop burning CD's but i dont have any time right now. With the extra Harmon Kardon interface it must look sick...can you post up some pics??

pics WILL BE UP LATER TODAY....IM IN SCHOOL RIGHT NOW HAHA

edit: PIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The screen that shows the ipod menu, songs, etc....

the controller thingy withthe same funtions as the ipod buttons....

and the ipod plugs in the center console :)

Nice install! The only drawback from the OEM gateway for me is the weird controls. I'm jealous of the controller this kit utilizes.

it's probably one of the best out here for the price. plus, its an easy install

the only problem is that i have the controller on velcro because i need to take it off in oder to take the console panelling off, if i have to go down thhere to install something and stuff.

but it still sticks well----if you get this the best bet is to install it with the sticky pad it comes with--because that doesnt come off unless you really really really try to get it off.

anyways, thanks guys!
