Upgraded my iPhone to IOS4 today. Now my car will no longer read the USB on my phone. I just talked to apple they changed the way the iPod interfaced reads USB interfaces. So now I am sure on thursday when the iPhone 4 is released that the phone will not work with the USB port on the 2010 models. Has anyone else heard anything about this issue?
 
Usually when Apple comes out with a new product, they make it so previous accessories don't work. It's an annoying business tactic.

Wonder if jailbreaking could help at all?
 
i was just watching AOTS on G4 and they said if you have the 3GS your safe if you have anything bellow that your basically screwed lol
 
Fixed

It is fixed the easiest fix is to force hard reboot holding the power button and the home button for 10 seconds. Thanks for the posts

It is fixed best way to fix it is to force hard reboot. Hold down the power button and the home screen button for 10 seconds. The other well I wasted all evening with it. They both work and the only reason that I know is that I have two phones one for business and one for personal use. The other way I clears all the contents and set it up like a new device. Thanks for the posts
