iPad in the FX

I think the magnadyne will not be that good of an idea anymore since it will cover the rearview mirror. I'm very happy with my 64gb 3G iPad2. I got the 3G version for the GPS option but cancelled the internet service to save $ bc I can wirelessly tether with my iphone. I mainly use the pad in the car to watch internet music videos with Vevo, YouTube, Netflix, n InfinitiScene of course for now since the jailbreak is not out yet
Like panzer said the iPad will not charge so i ran an 3.5mm audio cable out of the ashtray instead of the USB. Here are 2 pics of my phone's screen n the audio cable...

Wow I'm getting my ipad 2 3g 64gb verizon soon in about 3-4 days but I might do what you guys did and mount it. Where are you all buying your mounts? It looks perfect.
For those of you who is hating on the ipad I WAS anti-apple because I didn't want to follow everyone else and go apple. Over time I people gave me the ipod then now I'm using the first iphone 2g. I've used the ipad 1 quite a bit and there are uses over a laptop. I use my ipad for:
-Watching digital movies I put on there instead of the laptop.
-Watching with the laptop it gets hot but the ipad doesn't.
-Bring it in the bathroom to read wall street journal instead of my 17" overweight laptop.
-My girlfriend play games on it while in the fx.
-The ipad 2 camera is pretty awesome and the video recording isn't bad.
-Mobile, I don't have internet on my phone so I can use the ipad for internet while traveling.
-Battery life is awesome but it does take a while to charge.
-I load up my class powerpoints and study on their, once again easy to bring around.
-Much more!
Some say they have absolutely no use for the ipad and it's a waste of money but some can say to you why spend over $1000 on rims that does totally nothing.
I'm still not buying a macbook though. That's definitely overpriced.
