invidia exhaust

OEM exhaust note is mostly the muffler design. Headers will just make the setup louder and in some cases increase rasp since the header material is much thinner than the OEM manifolds. Only exhaust that is louder and maintains the OEM note is the Nismo. And maybe the Fujitsubo since they are supposed to be the same.

IMO if you are looking for a sexy sounding exhaust without the rasp and something that sounds exotic go for the FI CBE. I have personally heard it in person with a guy who had a g35 with FI RHFCs and FI CBE. The sound of that setup brought joy to my ears. FI CBE is one of the nicest ones ever made and their quality is top notch. The G35 is driven where it snows and their is road salt in the winter, and the exhaust shows no sign of rust with close to 10 thousand miles on it. You can custom install it by extending the mid pipe to make it fit. There is a guy in Virginia who was able to do this with his FX35 AWD.

I know this is kinda delayed but I didn't see any specs on prices and such on the exhaust system...plus a final say on what happened!
Are you happy with the Invidia exhaust? I'm looking to change out my Stock exhaust soon (probably next 3 or 4 months) and I am up in the air when it comes to all the options.

For the RWD FX, all exhausts are interchangeable. Just have to get the tips extended. Since you have an AWD, not all exhausts will work due to the transfer case. You can get any Y-pipe back exhaust and extend the tips. Then get a Y-pipe designed for the AWD G sedan or HR motors since they will clear the transfer case. But a lot of the HKS and knockoff dual exhausts won't fit.

are the g35/350z exhausts interchangeable for the fx35?
