Invidia exhaust???

A friend of mine sells the brand in the netherlands and has it on his FX35. The sound (inmy opninion) is of that of a BMW 6 cylinder with a sport exhaust. Very deep sound. I went for the HKS legamax cause i love the OEM sound and HKS keeps it but then louder. Invidia is different.

I can't decide what exhaust to get either, I thought i was sold on the HKS setup, but i keep seeing this invidia. is invidia even a good brand? I wish there were better pics of the indivia setup. It seems like the indivia is set up to flow more than the HKS setup.

Hmmm.... Do you guys think this will clear GT Spec rear braces. I got screwed with my HKS exhaust, I found out. The vendor increased the price and I tried to purchase it at the old price and they will not honor the old price.

Anyhow.... I just have the Kakumei Y-Pipe sitting pretty at my house waiting to be installed. If i get this set up, I will have to sell my Y-Pipe to someone. Anyone interested in purchase Kakumei Y-Pipe for RWD so I can pick this up instead of the HKS sytem?? =)

If I cannot recover what i paid to acquire Kakumei Y-pipe.. I guess I will still purchase the HKS at the higher price =(

Looks like it will fit, but need to confirm.

I might need a y-pipe if I get a local Nismo that doesn't have a y-pipe. Not sure though, plus shipping might be a pain.

I paid 195 with shipping minus the Live rebate thingy... I'd like to recover most of it if possible if I'm not going the HKS route. I'm exploring my options right now.

If I can sell the Y-pipe to a local RWD FXer for a reasonable amount, I will probably contact gordon and purchase invidia, assuming it will clear the bars. If I can't sell the Y-pipe, I guess I'm going to just reorder the HKS and pay more for it.

Gordon, I just ordered the gtspec lower tie brace, and lateral car. you think this system will clear it? Also, are there flex pipes? I'm on the fence right now between HKS and the Invidia. Will this bolt on 100% to my 03 fx45? I'm sure i'm not the only one that has these questions. Thanks!!!!

What is your point of doubt in these systems...?? And what are your preferences...??

Of course everybody has a different reason to go for a certain exhaust system or not.
Mine was the sound as i cut of the tips due to my bodykit.
I've heard both HKS and INVIDIA and can say that if the type of sound is an issue for you there is a difference between these 2 brands.

IMO HKS comes more close to the OEM excentric sound our FX's have. I find it a sort of exotic howel, and HKS has that same sound but then somewhat louder.

The INVIDIA gives the FX a far more deeper sound, like a beemer with a V6 and sport exhaust. Sounds nice but it's almost a standard tuning sound wich many cars already have. That's what i like about the FX and the Z they realy have an extingquesh sound wich is unique.

Can't say any differences in perfromances unfortunatly.....

P.s: I have the Kakumei Y-Pipe and HKS and Rear brace......no problems except having to bent the mid section a bit due to the angle of the Y-pipe......but that wasn't neccasary for clearance to the brace or such. Was because it was resonating a bit to the tunnel.

Is that why an internet vendor canceled my order?! They also increased their price and wouldn't honor their old one... Hmm

Called the vendor and they said it was back ordered for good 2-3 weeks. I guess we have to wait it out.

Dam, I'm not in a rush to get an exhaust. but now i'm leaning toward the individia. my concern now is that it looks like no resonators. but Gordon PM'ed me and said that there are flex pipes. and that it bolts up 300% to the fx35, so i'm guessing it will bolt up to my fx45 300%. (I think gordon was drunk, when he PM'ed me:laugh:)
