You should just get this 2nd gen 35 exhaust and modify it to fit. Why not get a full exhaust that you will have to mod a bit rather then getting just a mid-pipe that you will most likely have to mod to fit also, or chop up your OEM midpipe.

Hasn't someone done this and got great dyno results?

the midpipes Im using are all g37/370/FX spec..theyre all the same midpipe. So its just replacing the midpipe basically.

Don't have a link, I thought I remembered seeing one a while ago, maybe Gordon remembers. Are you sure the midpipes you are looking at are exactly the same as the FX50 midpipe.

yeah, just like the first gens, the exhausts are the same just the tips are extended a little bit. G37/370z exhausts will all work.

Dont you have to extend the midpipe on the nismo to fit the FX?
