Interior Ambient Lighting

Anyone install any ambient lighting kits inside there fx? I'm looking to do it but can't seem to find anything except a package from MOPAR for like Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge...and its like $250. Not many people do this I see but I'm def not the only one to have thought about it. Someone point me in the right direction here... And before some of you w/ bright led's all over your car start to comment w/ what to do... hold on a sec. I'm looking for the soft lighting effect that the small light near the sunglass holder in that upper console thats in the newer g35's/and ex's. If your like me and you get your vehicle serviced on the regular at the stealrship, you probably drive g35's and ex's often. So you guys know what light I'm talking about. I'm looking to add to the door's, floor, and possibly the sunglass holder area if it's simple and possible. Iknow there are sticky solar powered things that can go anywhere and stay lit through the night but I'm looking for something w/ more substance. Ideas'\...
 
I have LED strips under my dash...is that what you are looking for?

maybe try tinting LEDs or something...so the light isnt as bright?

Yea i'd like that too by the sunglass holder, like a map reading light. I think all beamers have them, a really dull orange light so its not pitch dark in the your car at night.

My moms got an r500. I noticed it in hers before I even noticed it in the new infiniti's
