Interesting Hatch Door Problem

Hey guys, I have an interesting problem with my FX's hatch. It's stopped working the past month but I know the actuator is good because when I pop the hatch from the lever inside, it closes and locks normally. But now, pressing the button to open does absolutely nothing. No sound whatsoever.

So....I thought it was the button. Nope! Now it's switching back and forth from not working to working all the time even with all my doors locked! So now I (and everyone else) can open the hatch through the button even if my car is locked and armed.

Anyone have this problem or is a whiz at this? The Infiniti stealership here is horrible with a wait time of 1.5 months or so. The only thing I can think of is my Compustart alarm. I wonder if that has to do anything with it even though they didn't happen at the same time.

Also, my front passenger's actuator is shot. I've opened it up and waiting for my order on the new actuator. Let me know if anyone needs a DIY for it.

Thanks for any help,

Hey, this is very strange!! I'm having the EXACT issue with both my rear hatch button and passenger side door lock actuator!! any news or more info? can't seem to find anything...
I have a 2004 FX45
thanks

it's funny you mention winter. my actuator's on all 4 doors and hatch work perfectly normal during the winter months. granted, i'm in california where it only goes down to about 40-50 degrees. come summer when the temps get into the 70-90's, that's when they start to act up. seeing as there's a pattern, the problem doesn't seem to be with the actuators but rather some kind of cable/power connection? or maybe just needs to be lubricated since it "sticks" in hot weather?
