Well, the insurance company decided to repair my FX. The adjuster's estimate came in just under $7400 and no frame damage. With only 61K miles and the excellent condition, the car books at $14,800. The body shop told me the repair figure would go up but the insurance company won't declare a total loss after the repairs are started unless it's something devastating. I'll post some pics when I get it back. Body shop estimated 3 weeks, but I'm guessing it'll be at least 4.

That's great news!! What year is the FX?
I know this is not the right thread, but since it started here.....my FX is off to the body shop in the morning. I'm hoping it's close to the 3 week figure they gave me, but I wont rush them. I'll post some pics when it's done under another thread. Thanks for all the well wishes and concern.
