Intake air vacuum leak

My car has been idling rough. The rpms go up and down so i know there's vacuum leak somewhere. I took off my intake today and noticed the hose going to the intake is cracked and has holes in it. Can that hose be causing an air vacuum leak? If so, anyone know the part number or how to describe the hose to the dealership. I called today but they couldn't figure out what hose i was talking about and i was in a rush so i told them i would call them back

I doubt the leak contribute much. Just duct tape the hole and see if it fix the problem. I'm thinking your throttle body needs cleaning.

I went to the nissan dealership and we found the part(i ordered it for Monday). They said that hose would cause a vacuum leak and make my car idle sporadically. I ordered the hose for $30. Would rather not duct tape. We will see on Monday if the new hose fixes the idling issue. Thank for the help

Duct tape just to see if that leak is the cause. By no mean of running permanently with duct tape :)

So i just put a new hose and the problem is still there. I'm getting erratic idling and a loud whistle noise. Lucky for me the car drives great but when idling is when the problem exists, car doesn't stall either but the idle will go low. My cousin now thinks my upper or lower plenum may be warped cause he sprays water around the gasket and the whistle noise changes and the idle changes. I have not read on here about anyone with a warped plenum. How could it warp? I did have a motordyne 5/16 spacer on before but took it off cause of the whistling and erratic idling(which didn't fix anything) Can i remove the upper plenum and use high temp silicone with the gasket? Getting frustrated as we checked everything and can't figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated

Well since he sprayed water at the plenum and noted the change in idling and the noise. He should be able to tell the exactly where the leak is. If it is the mating surface of the upper & lower plenum, you may want to replace just the gasket to see if that cures it. Haven't heard anyone had a wrapped plenum. I can't imagine how it can be wrapped since it is one solid piece of heavily cast aluminum.

We changed the gasket and problem still there. Is it ok to add silicone to help with the seal

So haven't been driving the FX much but the problem recently got worse so i took it to my cousins mechanic and this is what they found. This is from the Motordyne iso thermal copper plenum spacer. Not sure why this happened. Put new gaskets in and all is well now
Can't attach pics for some reason
