Instructions for installing Illuminated Kick plates

Posted this thread because I noticed a few people on :iS: have purchased the illuminated kick plates for the 2nd Gen Fx but didn't receive the instructions with it. I recently bought them from eBay and came with everything. Its very easy to do and should take around 30 minutes to install. Instructions are pretty detailed.

Yeah, bought em off a guy from Long Island that had an fx but never put them on. Got them for 205 shipped. I noticed you had a thread on another forum and needed the instructions for them.

I will check on my computer if shows up. No package yet. I am sure will get it soon. Area I live in is not urban. Lol. Takes forever for mail to arrive.

It showed up. Pics now valid again. Thanks. Just wanted to prepare myself what I am gonna do in a few days :smug:
 
Easy DIY. I did install to my car today. Took me 1 hours and my garage very small with limited space and I did very slowly not to break anything.

But be careful with removing the wiring,some plugs are very tight fit.
 
I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a 2015 QX70S and it looks like the part number for the illuminated plates has changed for 15-17? - G6950-3EV0B. I received the plates and they do not have a T Harness as shown in the instructions above for Fx35-FX50 but just comes with a small plug. I have both drivers and passengers plastic panels off with wires exposed and for the life of me can't find where this plug goes. Since it doesn't have the T Harness, I was assuming it was already pre wired for this male plug. Has anyone installed these plates on a 2015 or newer and where did you find the female plug at for this to plug into?
 
After doing an extensive google search I came across the kick plate instructions for the QX models. Turns out it is different and the connector is on the drivers side not the passenger side. I'm not able to upload the pdf I found, but her is a link incase anyone else was in the same boat as I was trying to figure out this install on newer models. After having this, I was able to install the illuminated plates in about an hour taking my time.

Thanks for the link, I just finished installing my kick plates. This link had the accessory plug which saved me some time. Only difficult part was getting the line to the other side but I found a space for it.
 
I know this thread is old but does anyone who's installed the plates have a picture of the accessory plug? I tried looking but coukd not find it on my '15 QX70
