Installing Recaros in the FX!! Help

Hey what’s up guys!

The guys at Planted Technology are looking to make seat brackets for our FX! This will allow us to bolt in any aftermarket seats we want. They need to physically see the car in person, though.

We need a member in the Seattle / Kirkland, Wa area to donate thirty minutes of their time! Anyone in the Seattle area? You could greatly help the FX community!

350z brackets will fit the FX- but, our floor is at a slope, making the seats lean towards the door. Our OEM seats are made to offset this with tall legs on one side.

I’ve just finished my LS swap into my FX and now I’m tackling interior. My build thread is on my Instagram - Htx.FX62 and you’ll find a YouTube vlog linked as well.

I would love to help, and willing to go down to seattle, but unfortunately I am in Vancouver Canada, and with the border closed due to covid I dont know what that would be...

I ended up just modifying the 350z brackets.

3inch extension on back right. 2inch extension on back left. New L bracket on front right. No changes to front left.

Recaro’s here we come!
