Installing OEM iPod adapter on a FX35 2008

Hi everyone,
I bought an iPod kit for my FX35 2008 and it comes with a couple of wires for the little box. I've been trying to install the damn thing but no luck so far. The FX seems to have SAT radio - I can select it from the radio button and I can scroll through the categories but it says no signal. So I assume there is somewhere a SAT box where I have to plug in the adapter wires. The problem is that I can't find it. I took the car to a service where they have taken out the headunit and told me there were no compatible plugs there for the wires. They even dismanteled the rear cargo area where I thought the damn SAT box might be but no luck. The only thing that came close to those wire plugs was a wire connector on the left side (near the tail light). I plugged in all wires to give it a try but nothing happened.
Does anyone know where exactly is this SAT box for this model (2008) and in case I don't have a SAT radio how else can I connect the adapter? I would appreciate any pics/vid/manuals on this because I'm really getting deperate with this adapter! :eeerr:
Thank you

I just went through this on an 08 FX35 we had in the shop. Infiniti doesn't provide us with instructions worth a crap (even though I sell parts at an Infiniti dealer) so I decided to do some research. This is what I found:

Works great, but is only valid for the prewired 2008 FXs.

they did a great write up here:

///4377

what type of ipod cable did you buy? (oem, aftermarket?)

That is a great write up, but doesn't work on the 08 which is already prewired for the factory Ipod installation kit.

Thanks for all your replies guys! I took the car to a car audio shop and they installed the adapter in like 2 hours... Not sure what they did but the iPod cable is now in the glove box so I assume they plugged the wires on the back of the head unit. It cost about $50 which is more than fair and I'm finally happy :)
