Installing lowering springs, anything else need to be changed?

Hello,

I'm looking into buying eibach springs, I was wondering do I also need to change my struts or anything else. For my rims, winter I have oem 18" rims, summer 22". I also have 25mm spacers all around. I already got my rear fenders rolled, would I need to roll my front fenders as well?

Thank you

How many miles on your FX? Usually people do change the shocks and struts at the same time, just to save the hassle later. But I don't think that's necessary until 80K or so. You don't need your front fenders rolled, its just the plastic trim piece down there, not a metal edge like in the rear.

Can't really roll the front fenders. But you can push the tabs that hold the fender liner in up some. You'll hit those before you hit anything else. I've lost all but one of mine, they just rubbed off. I've since folded the tabs back some and it rubs less now. Not much else you can do, the plastic is much more minimal than the rear, so nothing to trim.

Hey.. I'm looking to lower my fx with eibachs as well. I have an entire new set of KYB front and rear stock replacements. Do in need to have shorter struts/springs to avoid bottoming out? Thanks!! Love this site.

If the Eibachs springs for spec out for the FX, you should have not any "bottoming out" with the KYB struts and shocks. There are quite a few incidents with Eibachs. I would recommend H&R Springs.
