Hello Everyone,

Just had a chance to install my Weapon R and Wood Dash Kit on my FX45.

Weather was great in NJ and finally had some time.

Sorry I had to use my Blackberry Curve camera to take the picture.

Enjoy

Oh cool, how do you like it? Congrats on your 2 mods.

Where is the pic?

:pics?:

As of now, Yes the sound on the Weapon R is really nice (got the 8 Inch filter)

I reset the ECU by unplugging the battery for 12 hours at least, still have half a tank.

Will be driving in the NY, Flushing a lot this weekend.

The wood trim makes a huge difference in the interior, everyone was like wow!!

I like the aluminum but it scratch up so easily.

Install was a breeze if you have a heat gun, just warm it up and stick it on

Thanks, last modding for me is the Momo Automatic Shifter and that is it.

Car now belongs to the baby due in July LOL

Going to do the commerical like VW, rev the engine so the baby can fall asleep LOL

Oh cool, so what made you decide on getting the Weapon R? Yeah, I like the alluminum dash kit. Think I'm going to get that one. They have one on ebay for $150.00. so you heated it up so it can curve to the dash or the adhesive side?

Oh wow, Congrats on your new baby coming in July. Baby on board sign on your back window? lol

Weapon R was decided because it was the easiest to get, the Stillen was going to take about 3-5 weeks.

Even though the Stillen one I believe is better since it is one piece vs this one which more of using the exising parts.

Still sound good and there is a bunch of FX45 with the Weapon R intake.

2nd the wood trim I order from

http://www.wooddashexperts.com/customer/product.php?productid=34116&cat=1522&page=1

This is a 25 piece set, the one on Ebay are ok, but I believe the quality of this one is better

The wood I pick is "Japanese Cherry (SJCW)" price is about 176 which is about the same as EBAY with the shipping.

Shipping was pretty fast 3 days (even though I waited for about a month before opening the box)

They do have the Aluminum kit also

Oh cool. I think I want to get the brushed alluminum. Comes out to $202.00 shipped. Does it come with a special cleaner?

Just want to clarify - there is no Stillen intake for the FX45, only for the FX35. Also, there are only 2 FX45's that have a Weapon R intake, now 3 (you).

Congrats on all your mods - you're starting out fast! What's next=)
