Inspection with aftermarket exhuast

I finally took my M45 thru the New Jersey auto inspection station (very strict emission test).

I'm very happy to report that the car passed (emission & sound).

It passed with the Megan Racing axle back mufflers & mid-pipe, K&N drop-in filter with air intake muffler delete.

Now that I have a 2yr sticker I might start to look into getting a y-pipe with HFC's. :smile:
 
Glad to hear it, I wasn't looking foward in replacing my MR exhaust just to pass inspection and than have to re-install it again. That would of been a waste of time & money. Now I saved an extra few bucks for more modz :)

It's not only passing the hard emissions test in NJ but they can fail you if they think your exhaust is to loud just by ear.

Thats just the reason I made this thread for those that might have questions about the Megan Racing exhaust passing the state inspection. Also to save others time & money who might go back to oem exhaust just to pass inspection and then doing the exhaust again.
