Originally the rings were a bit more red. I tinted the rings slightly to make them darker and now it's pretty much the same, but camera still makes it look a bit off. Plus they were super bright, looked like brake was engaged, so tinting took care of the glare too. :)

First I went with the overpriced strips from
AutoZone, those burnt out after 3 months. Then got the strip off eBay, after a few weeks some LEDs started to flicker, dim and eventually died. Finally ended up with ones from vleds. Those seem to finally work and no issues so far. 12" strip is what I went with for two rows in each reflector.

Can you remove the red reflector and install the 12 inch LED without removing the bumper..very nice work Thanks

Unfortunately no. Reflectors are held from the back by a small phillips screw, so in order to get them out, you'd have to remove the bumper.

It's actually easier than it seems. Just a few bumper clips, screws and bolts and you're in :)
I'm not sure if I posted bumper removal diagram in my garage of not, but just do a search for it and you will get a better idea.
The reflector itself takes a long time, getting it cut open with a dremell, then fitting the strips, sealing it all back together ...
