Hello fellow FX/QX owners. I'm old. I've owned many cars. But, other than looking at a G37 many years ago, I've never looked at Nissan products. Really, had no intention of getting a CUV or SUV. Looked into getting another Jaguar or Mercedes. Didn't want to get the same old stuff. Found a black 2009 FX35, AWD with all possible options, including the 20", five spoke wheels. The maintenance record was impeccable and it is in near perfect condition. Took it for a test drive and couldn't help but buy it.
I'm sure the appearance must be polarizing. But, I'm on the side that loves how it just looks different from everything else, in a good way. The ride is stiffer than I'd like with the 20s but I like the look more than I'm distressed by the jolts. I always trick my cars out, in little ways, to set them apart. But, I really like every thing as it is. I LOVE the wavy, smoke chrome grille. The painted silver wheels look perfect with the matte silver side louvers and lower trim. Already has matching front window tint which matches the rear. Even dragged out my old iPod touch, synced it with family sharing and have 588 songs at my touch from the collection.
Thanks for the site. Already am buying the leather center console cover to replace the cracked vinyl one. Read a thread on how to remove the lid and am just waiting for it to arrive.
