Infinity_Racer's build thread

I've read some people get this to fit without much effort. I bought this exact one:
http://m.ebay.com/itm/191163010156?nav=SEARCH.

To make it fit I had to shave down the rear differential casing a bit, relocate the driver side flex pipe on the catback, flatten out the lower factory brace and then extend the exhaust tips like the Nismo exhaust. Sounds like a lot but it's pretty simple, especially if you have a welder handy.

Here's a pic my wife took while we were extending the tips. If you decide to get this exhaust, the "burnt ti" tip is crap. I ordered a set of genuine ti tips to replace it so we'll see how those look.

That's a cool shot. If you took pictures of the installation, I would love to see the details of the adjustments that were made to fit.

Ahh sorry I didn't take any pics of it during the install, but this is the thread I used to follow. This guy uses the Godspeed version ($100) more and didn't run into any fitment issues other than extending the exhaust tips. Might be a better idea to get that version instead of the one I got since it seems to have less work involved to get it to fit. You can see in the pics of that thread how close certain pieces are to the frame/differential.

In this pic you can see the flex pipe very close to the frame of the car. On mine it was resting on it so it would rattle. I cut that off and moved it up.

And in this pic, you can see how the pipes are close to the differential. I shaved off the tabs on the diff to clear the exhaust pipes.

Smoked my tails with vht and added new genuine titanium tips. Also cut the rear spring mounts but can't get a good pic of that at the moment.

I was just looking at the same exact set up on ebay!!!! I can weld/cut pipe you name it. Do you think id be able to modify this to make it fit a v8 fx50 with my own polished 4.5" tips? Are the hangers the same?
im trying to attempt it. But i didnt want to trash the original muffler.

I couldn't tell you about the 2nd gen as I'm not too familiar of their exhaust lay out. All I know is the topspeed titanium tip fits perfectly on the exhaust :)

Got some iJDMToy LED license plate lights and I'm actually very impressed on the quality. It was only $35 bucks from Amazon for the pair.

Before with regular wedge LED bulbs:

Final product...check out the ground lol

I also retrofitted BMW E90 LED lights on my Honda Element.
