LOS ANGELES – INFINITI will reveal an all-new model at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, with world-first technologies, stand-out design and class-leading interior space.

The new model will see a fresh interpretation of INFINITI's distinctive Powerful Elegance design language, characterized by flowing sculptural lines and strong, muscular proportions – presenting a purposeful aura, while hinting at its dynamic capabilities.

"As with all INFINITIs, we have been inspired by our desire to drive, expressed with power and artistry. With this all-new model, inspiration comes from striking the perfect balance between lust and logic. At a glance, seamless and sculptural, getting closer to the car reveals an ingenious blend of proportion and space."

Alfonso Albaisa, Senior Vice President, Global Design

FX replacement!?!? :sneaky: One can wish...
Realistically, it would probably be a new QX50.

Would they call it an all new model though?

So we've gotten rid of RWD in favour of FWD, and a CVT... All sounds like BLAH BLAH BLAH to me...

Infiniti definitely needs a refresh; especially the FX.

I was at my local Dealership two weeks ago and they said the FX will come out with a new look roughly sometime mid year of 2019.

Sadly, I read any potential QX70/FX replacement will be based on the Murano. So another FWD setup.

    No thx.

The new Q50 and Q60 refreshes were still a RWD platform. I don't know why Infiniti is moving more models towards FWD platform, QX30 and now the QX50. The QX60 has always been FWD...

Yes, on Nissan's D platform. Same platform as the Altima, QX60, Murano, etc...

It's sad, Infiniti will not be what it is now in a few years.

What good is any of this if they all have the same shitty infotainment system!

I'm going to roll my FX50 until the wheels fall off I guess. If it that happens then maybe I'll give the F-Pace a shot or a slightly used Cayenne. :(

FWD is bad enough, but I can't believe they went with a friggin' CVT.

    I don't want a Nissan!
