Posting this here because this forum has the most amount of views but this is in regards to the various brake pads that Infiniti has for the Akebono big brakes that come on the FX50S and various other Infinitis.
I have a 2012 FX35 and I upgraded to the Akebono brakes front/back a few years back and initially had the sport pads but then switched to the premium pads. I love the sport pads but they are too dusty and really cake up the rims and calipers. The premium pads on the other hand have dust that can easily wash off which I'm guessing is due to the high ceramic content but they're not as grippy or grippy enough.
The other day I was curious to see what other Infiniti models have and came across a part number that doesn't match neither the sport or premium brake pads and wondering if anyone has any experience on what these are and where they fit in the spectrum of brake pads.
Any help would be appreciated.
Premium pads:
Front: D1060-JL00J
Rear: D4060-JL00J
Sport pads:
Front: D1060-JL00J
Rear: D4060-JL00J
Q50 Red Sport 400 pads:
Front: D1060-6HH0B
