I finally watched the unveiling. Ok I don't like and don't not like. The front is so much like the new Lexus. The figs remind me of the Mercedes E-class W211 rear is a Sonata, at night time I'm sure a lot of people could confuse both auto makers. Interior nice it nothing mind blowing. I like the touch screen below the NAV. I just hope the materials are of a good or better quality. Still would need to see it in person. Overall nice but not ground breaking.

It definitely still looks like a g sedan. the light has a similarity to the sonata, but the Hyundai has those weird folds all over the place. I liked the shape of the Maxima more than the M.
I think the sedan is lower in the hierarchy since they had the 2.5l 4 cylinder and the coupe didn't.

overall the switch to Q and price range number is so people can know who's higher up in the lineup, and the fact that they're making smaller engines, so they would have to decrease the numbers. there will be a new flagship but its a 3.0 liter and like 500 hp or something like that.

Eh, in the end all cars start to look similar in one way or another.... Case in point, I was driving in the car with a friend once and as a newer model Merc E-class drove by, he asked "is that the new toyota?" i said no. Then he asked, "oh, the new honda then." Nope.

That Lexus would take a very long time to grow on me.

Lexus needs a manual option for the IS. I really don't think sports sedans should come in automatic at all. and the Lexus paddle shifters are slow, test drove the GS a few years back right after driving a manual TL, and it was super slow. like 1-2 seconds before shift.

i do like it and i think once we see them out on the streets more often itll grow on u more.. especially if they make an IPL version or S version... I see it having potential to be more aggressive

Tough to say, but I think I like it. Very aggressive and I think it will do well, can't wait to see some of these updates get to the other cars.

I like the front a lot. The FX could have some cool changes coming if the front looks like that. Side view is long and sexy. The back weirds me out a little, but it's nice overall.
