Infiniti Gas Tank Vent Issue

Hello All has anyone else had problem when filling up and the nozzle keeps shutting off???

Has anyone else recieved the letter from inifiniti saying you can take the car into the dealer if youre experiencing the issue and they will fix it?? I did that but they said there was no issue found and wanted to charge me so beware. Thing is I still have the problem. Any advice or anyone else keeps experiencing this?? BTW i use different gas stations so its not the pump i dnt think.
 
I believe there was a service bulletin issued for this but not a recall. With a service bulletin you get charged for the repair if you are outside your warranty period. If a recall was issued they would fix it for free anytime. You'll want to check the service bulletin ITB17-026
 
Did you make sure your tank was only 1/4 or less? That is the recommended fuel when having the EVAP tube check by the dealer. They extended the warranty to 15 years or 150K miles regarding this block EVAP tube.

I personally have not experienced this problem, usually caused by overfilling the tank.

Yes it was close to 1/4 tank when i took it in then they asked mwe if they could drive it to get it down to the desired level. i relctantly agreed. But yes it was tested at the proper level. Thanks

Did they send out letters extending the warranty on the EVAP tube? I wasn't aware of this. Do you have a copy?
 
Well they did for my 2011, I will try to take a pic I don’t have soft copy. Nissan sent it in the mail.
