Good morning. I am a long time Infiniti driver and first time QX80 owner. I purchased a 2021 RWD vehicle. It is low mileage, beautiful, handles well, has plenty of cargo space for our two big dogs, and - most importantly - my wife loves it! We enjoy the NC mountains and I have a concern about the 2WD in the mountains during winter months. I am considering the efficacy of chains as an alternative to getting an AWD model. The opinions received have varied greatly and I would appreciate experiences from this group on driving the 2WD version in mountainous snow with and without chains. Thanks so much!
