I'm a new 06 FX35 owner.

Hi everyone. I figured after lurking for a few weeks I'd go ahead and post up and say hi. I just got an 06 Autumn Copper FX35 with sport and tech packages. The only things it doesn't have that I want are an iPod connector, Sirius tuner (it has XM) and a tow hitch. Those and a few other mods are coming. I have already been reading some of your posts about mods and plan to add an MD 5/16 spacer, maybe a Stillen intake, tint the windows, and replace the Bose sub with something more robust.

I'm not a stranger to Infinitis, the VQ35DE, or modding. I also have a very modded 04 Laser Red G35 coupe and a slightly modded 03.5 caribbean Blue G35 sedan. I have a lot of posts on the G35 sites and infinitihelp.com, and I'm looking forward to becoming a regular member here too.

I would post some pics of the cars, but I need another 9 posts.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new FX. You bleed Infiniti I see. Post some pics when you can.

welcome to the scene. Can't wait to see all your rides.

Here's the Autumn Copper FX35.

I'll get a group photo soon.

Nice G's. You have some tasteful modding there. You're gonna want to do more than an IPOD connector on the FX though . . it's only a matter of time before the bug sets in

Dave right once to mod you never go back. Carlos had a differentsaying but that another thread. Welcome to the Box "aka" the Scene!

I promised myself and my wife not to go crazy on the FX. The sedan is the daily driver "beater" for work while the coupe is the weekend fun car. So the FX will be the nice, relatively stock car for trips, hauling stuff, and dealing with clients.

I used to have a Vortech in the coupe and also had an 8/4 pot Rotora BBK with 15 inch rotors on it. So I've been down the extreme mod road and I'm not going to do that with the FX.

Here's the mod list for the coupe.

Welcome, and nice coupe.

Stock intake on it though? And are the brembo's now silver, were gold? I like the look of the silver ones, and the cross-drilled rotors match the wheels perfectly, very tasteful. Also using my favorite tire on them.

I have a pop charger and Z tube on the coupe now. I removed the Vortech and sold it.

The different colors of the calipers is because I started with OEM Brembos, then moved to a custom spacer bracket and 15 inch calipers up front with the OEM Brembos, and then I changed the entire brake system to 8 piston Rotoras with 15 inch rotors up front and 4 piston Rotoras with 15 inch rotors in the rear. I recently sold them too and went back to the stock Brembos with Rotora pads and drilled/slotted rotors.

This is the Brembos with the custom spacer bracket kit.
