So when you leave the car with the Ikey in your pocket the car will beep, but will the car shut off? Today my wife had the key in her pocket while I went and parked the car which was a half mile away.

The ikey is required to be in the vehicle for starting. Once started, you can get out with the iKey and the car stays running. It will do a series of beeps letting you know you left the vehicle running without the iKey. But, if you turn the car off without the ikey being inside the vehicle, the car will not start until you brind the iKey back inside the vehicle.

And with your wife (and key) out of the car, you can drive around like normal. Just don't turn the ingition off.
(This is why they have drive thru liquor stores. Lol)

The key is required to be in the car for it get out of park. Andrew tried to put the car in reverse today while it was running and couldn't because I walked away with my key in my pocket and I had to bring it back. But it will not shut off that's for sure.
