Where is the little "speaker" located that outputs the beeper sound?
I always use the iKey for lock/unlock/ingition and have always had the beeper sound. Every once in a while, I would not hear the beeper upon lock/unlock and just shrugged it off and then heard it the next time. Since the last few days, there has been no beeper sound. I checked the settings in Vehicle Electronic Systems and everything is set correctly as ON and BEEPER. I even turn them all off, activated, and turn them back on again. Still no beeper.
Ever heard of this happening?
I was thinking of checking the wiring and the output speaker.
What other funtions cause the same beeper sound and I'll see if that works.

Try pushing the door handle button with the door open. I know mine beeps at me to tell me that it didn't lock in that situation.

Thanks Aiya.
Okay the beeper does work and sounds normally when hitting the button with the door open and also closing the door with engine running and iKey outside. The sound notification not working is isolated to the lock/unlock function. I even switched from BEEPER to HORN and the horn did not sound on lock/unlock. This is the same on all 3 doors with lock buttons.
The mystery continues.

New Update:
As also shared in this similar thread, my "beep" was returned by pressing and holding both the lock and unlock buttons on my remote for 3-5 seconds. The chirped indicating a change in settings and my familiar beep chirp returned when locking and unlocking by pressing the handle buttons. Thanks Arturius!!!

Glad to hear it worked out for you!
If only it was the same case for me :( I'm 99% sure it's the speaker that's fried. Time will tell - we'll see what Infiniti says.

Are you able to get the beep sound through other actions?
1) press the handle button (lock) with the door open
2) close the door from the outside with the ignition in the ON position and the key outside
